If I am a current 2021 LARR member, is my membership still valid?
Yes! For anyone who has already signed up to be a 2021 LARR member, your membership will continue through to the new Los Angeles Marathon date in the fall.
Will the training program still run for 20-weeks?
With the marathon date now being in the fall, the LA Road runners training season will revert back to our traditional 26-week training schedule.
When will the new training season start?
The 26-week training season start date will be announced very soon. Please stay tuned for all updates.
With the new events calendar, will LARR Pro members still receive the same benefits?
Absolutely. All LARR Pro benefits will remain the same, including all event day VIP access.
How will the fall Marathon date affect the 2022 Training schedule?
All 2022 season details will be announced later this year. Please check back in for updates.
What are the membership options?
We have two membership options in 2021. ‘LARR Base Level’ is available to anyone who registers for the 2021 Los Angeles Marathon or the 2021 Rose Bowl Half Marathon. ‘LARR Pro’ is available to everyone, and includes exclusive race day VIP access, Team Training, Corral B access and more! If I signed up for the Los Angeles Marathon or the Rose Bowl Half Marathon before December 2020, am I still able to receive the LARR base level membership?
The free LARR base level membership is only valid for new participants of the Los Angeles Marathon & Rose Bowl Half Marathon beginning December 4th, 2020.
Is there a deadline to register for a LARR membership?
There is no deadline for LARR registration, though please note that the membership will only be valid through to the new 2021 Los Angeles Marathon event date.
Will there be in person LARR events in 2021?
We are doing all we can to ensure the safety of our members, participants, volunteers and staff, and are planning an exciting return to in-person events once it is safe for us to do so. The 2021 events calendar will be announced soon.
Will there be Health & Safety Protocols for any future in-person events?

Will there still be weekly team training runs?
In a traditional training season, our LARR pace leaders lead weekly runs every Saturday morning for all LARR Pro members. Following the recommendations from the CDC and LA County Department of Public Health, we will begin our weekly team training when we begin the new 26-week training program.
Where can I pick up my LARR shirt?
LARR Shirts will be available to pick up in person at any of our future in-person events. Alternatively, you have the option to have your shirt mailed. For additional questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am an LA Road Runners member, but haven’t received my shirt yet?
The majority of LARR shirts have been shipped for those who opted in for shipping on their registration form. If you don’t yet have your shirt, you will receive it by the end of January. Our priority is the health and safety of our staff, and we thank you for your patience.
Will LARR members get preferred corral placement for the 2021 Los Angeles Marathon?
Yes! If you are an LARR Pro member, will receive preferred corral B placement.
Does my LARR membership include entry to the 2021 Los Angeles Marathon?
Both LARR memberships do NOT include entry to the Los Angeles Marathon.
Are there any discounts for LARR memberships?
First responders and active military members receive a 15% discount on all LARR membership tiers. Email email@example.com for discount code. For the 2021 LARR season, returning LARR members are eligible for a $25 discount on an LARR Pro membership through to January 31st, 2021.
If I am a current LARR member, how do I connect with my Pace Leader?
Please reach out to our Coach Mark Minichiello or LARR Program Coordinator Maria Miller at: Mark@mccourtfoundation.org Maria@mccourtfoundation.org They will give you access to your private pace groups and will also connect you with your Pace Leader via email & Facebook.
As a member of an affiliate club, how do I claim my affiliate club benefits?
Each affiliate club has received a personalized club code to distribute among members. Please contact your club leader for code, and provide the code when registering for the 2021 Los Angeles Marathon which will in turn activate affiliate club benefits.
Is an LARR membership refundable?
There are no refunds or transfers for a LA Road Runners membership for any reason including an event cancellation, an event conducted at a shorter distance or as a virtual event, or the event being rescheduled. We do however offer deferrals for any LARR member who has chosen to defer their 2021 Los Angeles Marathon registration.
